HIGHLIGHTS

School of Dentistry

The UCSF School of Dentistry was the first dental educational institution to be established west of the Mississippi River. More than a century later, the field of dentistry is changing rapidly. Advances such as 3-D imaging, laser technology and minimally invasive procedures are creating an explosion of new possibilities for research and clinical practice. Long recognized as a national leader, UCSF is seizing these opportunities and preparing the next generation of clinicians and educators in dental, oral and craniofacial sciences to succeed in this evolving world.

School of Dentistry facilities, including its newly renovated clinics, research laboratories and library, make it one of the best-equipped settings anywhere in the nation in which to conduct education, patient care and research.

Your generous support will enable the school to maintain state-of-the-art facilities, recruit and retain a talented teaching staff, conduct innovative research and provide aid for promising students.
