Children’s Health

Our care for kids is both high-touch and high-tech. Photo by Steve Babuljak

When a child is seriously ill, so much is at stake. By giving to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, you support a comprehensive, collaborative approach to pediatric medicine that bridges research and care to serve not only young patients, but also entire families.

Your generosity supports one of the nation’s premier enterprises for pediatric care. Infants still in the womb, babies and toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, young adults – we care for these vulnerable patients with more than 150 specialists in 40-plus areas of medicine.

At UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, kids – their health, their future – are our priority.

When you give to children’s health at UCSF, you bring hope to families close to home and beyond. With our new, state-of-the-art, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco, we strengthen collaboration between health researchers and health care providers and help advance the translation of research findings into therapies and cures – all in a world-class, family-centered healing environment.

In addition, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland broke ground on the first phase of its 10-year expansion and renovation project in October 2015. Central to this effort is a new Center for Advanced Outpatient Care, a six-story, 89,000-square-foot outpatient clinic slated to open in Fall 2017.

From our facilities on both sides of the Bay, innovative and collaborative research extends our reach to children everywhere.

See how leading-edge science combined with hands-on care at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals gives kids and their families new reasons to hope.
